A short-lived franchise in the history of the MLB, the Fuckin’ A’s were the Anchorage, Alaska home team back in 1937. During the two years that the team played, the green snow-suited players never hit a home run during any game because the ball would freeze before reaching the bat and explode on impact into shards of ice. The team was finally moved to Oakland after the catcher froze to death in the ninth inning of the summer of ‘38.
